About Fountain Street Church
Protestant in tradition and Baptist in history, Fountain Street is now liberal in defining faith and non denominational in expressing it. Its majestic sanctuary has a 140-year history of hosting brilliant music and notable musicians from Duke Ellington and Ella Fitzgerald to Dave Brubeck, The Grateful Dead and Bono.
Every week it also welcomes children, elders, young adults, homeless neighbors, and many who have been left out, cast out, or simply walked out of other religions.
Part of no denomination, Fountain Street works in partnership with other houses of worship and charitable organizations to serve the poor, stand up for the oppressed, and create a world of "liberty and justice for all." For more information, go to www.fountainstreet.org
